Securus started with the merger of two leading companies in corrections market industry, namely the Evercom and T-Netix companies, in September 2004. A letter from a correction agency staff says that with the use of Securus LBS software, the sheriff’s department managed to recover narcotics, cash money and over a million of illegal assets. He commented that, without the LBS software, there was no doubt that recovering all those assets would have been complicated, if not impossible.
